Traveling with Kids
Day 1
· Dinner at Downstairs at Eric’s – If you are looking for sports, pizza and beer, this is the place to go. With over 25 TVs and an arcade for the kids - Eric’s is a great place for the whole family.
Day 2
· Take a hike at Sapphire Point – An easy .8 mile hike with amazing views of Lake Dillon. Sapphire Point is easily accessible off Swan Mountain Road.
·Have a picnic overlooking Lake Dillon – Stop and take in the views while enjoying lunch with your family.
· Attend your preview of the Grand Lodge on Peak 7
· Catch an outdoor movie at Copper Mountain or a concert at the Dillon Amphitheatre – Both activities are free and a favorite for both families visiting the area and locals alike.
Day 3
· Horseback Riding – With endless acres of beautiful forests, meadows and mountain trails a horseback ride in Summit County is a real Colorado wilderness adventure.
· Have a picnic at the Riverwalk Center – Relax by the river while enjoying lunch and views of the ski area. There is also a playground for the kids. |
